As you can tell there’s been so much demo and things have been cleaned up to be ready for the new trusses. It’s crazy to have just a shell left on this home remodel… just exterior walls, a little framing for the new staircase, support braces holding the walls in place and yes Josh left the main bathroom still intact (for a bit longer).
But the Truss’s arrived from Tecna with a huge crane! 20+ of them! It was sooo cool to watch them put up the whole roof in like 4 hours! We hired a crew to come and set them (secure them), do the sheeting on the roof, lay the upstairs base floor layer and frame the two gable ends. It took them a few weeks to work through all of that.
We were so blessed with great weather! You never know when you start getting into fall how things are going to be but to have no rain during this was awesome.

PS. it’s super tall!! It really is starting to look like a whole new house!
